Community Blood Drive
Tuesday, August 17 – 3:00-7:00 pm

Many of us will require a blood transfusion at some point in our lives. To meet patients' needs for blood and blood components, the Community Blood Center requires approximately 580 donors every weekday. Since blood products have a limited shelf life, and your blood donation is used right here in the Kansas City metro, it is imperative that we continue to keep the community's blood supply at optimum levels at all times.

Life Line Health Screening
Wednesday, August 25th

Stroke is the third leading cause of death in the United States, and this catastrophic event can strike without warning. In fact, four out of five people who have had a stroke showed no apparent warning signs prior to their attack. But, strokes can be stopped in their tracks.
